Six Sigma Case Study
Late 2007 we were approached on recommendation by a company Operating in the FS sphere employing almost 5000 people across 17 countries, one of the FTSE top 250 – We were retained to conduct a hybrid search assignment for a BPR Account Manager to strategically manage the clients biggest asset & constantly evaluate methods in which to improve their supply chain.
After receiving a detailed brief and a client visit to meet the hiring manager, and change team we delivered a detailed search plan signed and agreed by the client.
With detailed knowledge & experience in all BPR environments our network of candidates extends far & wide. With such a Hybrid Role however due to the challenging nature of the brief a carbon copy match was always unlikely. After determining the importance of each element we made recommendations that the search should focus on an operationally experienced Lean Sigma Master Black Belt with a PTR in supply chain and an early career in Financial Services or Sales.
Originally a request from the client’s core account, this role held the utmost importance. This role was an immediate priority and within 5 days we had a shortlist of individuals from our powerful network that we felt capable. From this first list we were asked to recommend the 2 strongest candidates. On those recommendations both were triple interviewed & 1 was made an offer & excepted within 2 weeks of the initial assignment start date.
We subsequentially sped up the offered candidates start date by reducing his needed notice period replacing his role within 3 weeks.
The clients commitment to a fast turnaround & using ripe4’s specialist BPR & Lean Sigma network drove result needed. We have since been retained to complete multiple global lean Sigma assignments for this client.
