Due to investment an exclusive Ripe4 client is looking for a Development Engineer to join their expanding team. Working on an innovative tidal stream energy generator you will be involved in the assembly and factory testing, site operation, installation and deployment of prototypes and assist with component and system design and development.
The ideal candidate will be a practical, hands-on engineer with at least 3 years experience working in industry. You will have proven practical ability in working with machinery – maintenance, diagnosing faults, etc. Experience in a related field, such as marine or
renewable energy engineering would be advantageous.
Essential
Degree or HND in mechanical engineering, or a related subject
· Understand the engineering principles behind mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
· Strong practical experience
· Demonstrable design capabilities of specialist equipment for marine operations and maintenance
