An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Candidate with Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience. The ideal Candidate will be required to ensure that the skills and knowledge of Quality Assurance are applied to the operation of the business as a whole, to improve the overall performance by raising operational standards. You will also be expected to manage the ISO9001 Quality system Program along with the BRC and other external GMP related Audit Processes.
The Role:
As the Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for internal auditing and for assisting in the preparation of external BRC audits and IS0 9001 Standards.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the HACCP system, and for verifying the current procedures and compliance.
Reviewing, maintaining and updating the quality management system.
You will also be heavily involved in assisting with future NPD projects.
The Requirements:
You will be Degree qualified ideally in chemistry or food science.
You will naturally have an aptitude to challenge the norm.
Have strong leadership and management skills.
You will need great attention to detail to be successful in this role as well as several years practical work experience in the food industry.
