Dynamic Environmental Consultant required to work on projects and proposals throughout the UK, there may also be opportunities to travel internationally. You must have proven experience working on EIA projects, and you will be up to date with all EIA regulations. You will essentially be required to help ensure our client is represented within the environmental market place in a positive manner.
You must have excellent leadership skills as you will be in charge of delivering environmental consultancy projects. As part of your projects you will be required to get involved in report writing, preparing proposal and business development.
Ideally you will possess a BSc or equivalent in a related discipline and have previous experience working as an environmental consultant, proven project management experience is essential and you must have an excellent knowledge and commercial experience of Wind Energy. An understanding of EIA process and environmental legislations is vital within this position. If you hold any industry qualifications or if you are a member of a relevant professional body this would be desirable. The position will involve some financial management.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to work closely with members of the Environment Division across the UK as well as with staff across other Divisions. You will have a strong technical background, and you should have the ability to both manage and work well as part of a team. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is a must to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects.
