Client Engagement Leader will have responsibility for managing a Key Account Management team, which will be focused on specific sectors. Responsible for leading and developing KAMs to achieve carbon targets, for leading problem solving to develop high impact client solutions that deliver step change reductions in emissions, and for developing strong client relationships at the highest level based on delivery of excellent work and service.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day to day operations management of the Key Account Managers (KAMs) agreeing policy with the Director of Solutions and ensuring that standards are maintained across the KAM team
• Conduct KAM appraisals and development meetings and provide ongoing informal coaching to them
• Lead development of relationships at most senior level within our clients to help drive implementation of carbon savings. Develop strategic understanding of how climate change mitigation fits into their overall corporate strategy and priorities and help lead team problem solving in this area to deliver short-term and strategic emission reduction solutions to clients
• Work with Programme Support to ensure the continuous improvement of programme management, procurement, measurement and forecasting
• Report to the Director of Solutions in relation to the delivery of the identified and implemented CO2 targets for the team, guiding the team in monitoring and optimising the product mix to achieve targets. Monitor Quality Assurance and Limited Assurance processes to ensure carbon saving can be counted against Solutions targets
• Resolution of customer and sector issues, managing customer relations on a day to day basis and escalating any appropriate issues to the Director of Solutions
• Quality control all major pieces of work completed for our clients to ensure they are of the highest quality to drive cost effective emission reduction.
• Reviewing sector strategy, sector plans and ensuring knowledge capture and dissemination to the appropriate account managers
• Represent the KAM team liaising with other teams in Solutions
• Work to support development and delivery of services where they are the best option for the client. Work to ensure compliance with general measure approach and agreed SLAs with CTEL
• Manage the relationship with CRAMs to engage them in the best possible way.

Qualifications and experience:
Educated to degree level with demonstrable experience in consultancy/blue chip environment with a strategic role at a senior management level.
