Carbon Assessment Manager

A manager is required to oversee carbon assessments of organisations. You will be the ultimate authority responsible for issuing certification to organisations verifying that they have measured, managed and reduced their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and thus their carbon footprint. It is expected that you will have a relevant experience in carbon footprinting and a good understanding of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and/or ISO 14064.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence methodology and input best practise for assessment and certification processes within a forward looking organisation providing services to some of the UK’s largest organisations.
They offer a fantastic benefits package in return for:
• A science/engineering related Degree (at least 2:1)
• Advanced level in Microsoft Excel use
• A good understanding and experience of carbon footprinting, including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and/or ISO 14064
• Existing experience in GHG footprint calculation and verification processes - including information auditing
• Experience of environmental, carbon or other certification schemes would be an advantage
• Experience of energy efficiency and low carbon technologies would be an advantage
