IT Service Delivery Manager required with outsourcing experience, to manage the delivery of an IT services to customers throughout the UK. You will be responsible for delivering the managed service to external clients in a cost effective, reliable, timely and accurate manner. You will most likely be dedicated to one customer but you may branch out into managing multiple clients, you will be responsible for overseeing all projects being delivered into your client, therefore solid project management skills are a must.
Other responsibilities include the planning and installation of projects, budget responsibility; ensuring timescales are met against set deliverables and to work closely with other Delivery Managers on the preparation of tenders for prospective clients.
This position will require you to travel UK wide at times, to both other offices and also your clients on a regular basis. As the delivery manager you will also be responsible for looking at SLA’s, OLA’s, ITIL and Service Improvements (SIPs), implementing, changing and reviewing them where necessary. You will produce KPI and management information for both senior management and your customers, performing service reviews on a regular basis. Acting as an escalation point for your client, resolving any problems or issues they have based around the service being provided.
Working closely within internal teams including Business Improvement and Client Service Directors, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to manage multiple teams, across different sites within the UK, so you will have proven experience of man management.
You must possess proven experience working within a outsource environment, or if you have experience delivering services into a large organization this will also be considered. As mentioned you must have good project management skills and have the ability to run a project through the full lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing a P&L/Budget and must have done this in previous positions. Working within a ITIL environment you will be certified to at least foundation level and have a sound understanding of the methodologies, certification within Prince2 or a sound commercial understanding if this would be of advantage.
