Software Development Project Manager required managing a small to medium team of developers through the full project lifecycle. You will be working with a range of disciplines including embedded software, UI, databases and web services. You will also be expected to manage resourcing, programming, interfaces, testing and bug fixing throughout the projects.
 
Working on high end projects, you will have full responsibility for taking the project from concept through to delivery and dealing with any issues along the way. Developing products for external clients you will be working to tight deadlines and you must ensure the product is delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality. Although there is no formal methodology that you will need to work too, it would be of advantage if you have worked with Agile, Scrum, etc. Experience of working within ITC, Mobile or smart home control industries would be beneficial, as would any experience within the energy sector.
 
You will be an experience Project Manager with proven commercial experience of working on and delivery software development projects. You will have come from a technical background and should have a sound understanding of a broad range of software technologies including: XML, HTML, Flash, Adobe, ASP, VBA, .Net, SQL, C#, etc. You should be degree educated or equivalent within a relevant discipline, and any industry qualifications will be highly advantageous.
 
You will be a natural leader with previous experience of managing a team, liaising with internal departments and at times external clients you will uphold excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be creative and proactive in your approach and have the ability to manage multiple projects.
