An opportunity has arisen within a mechanical manufacturing organisation for a talented quality engineer ideally qualified or with some training in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Ideally you will also possess a Degree or HND or Mechanical, Manufacturing or Related Engineering/Scientific discipline.
This permanent role will be responsible mainly for Quality Engineering activities at a site in South Manchester. This will included the full Quality tool box with a particular focus on audits and resolution of Customer and Supplier issues. Within the predominant Quality side of this role you will also undertake Continuous Improvement activities by aiming to continuously improve all aspects of the role and quality standards/systems.
This role also involves a smaller involvement in Manufacturing Engineering duties such as New Product Introductions and resolving manufacturing issues.
