An exciting opportunity has arisen within a major commercial goods manufacturer for a role encapsulating the duties of a Software & Quality Assurance Technician based in Greater London. The organization is highly regarded in its field and fully embraces Lean manufacturing standards. The manufacturer is the global leader in its industry and is looking for a self-motivated technician to add to their team.
The role Software & Quality Assurance Technician is a permanent position which has a great scope for advancement within a large and highly respected company. Your role as Software & Quality Assurance Technician would involve the maintenance and operation of examination software and ensuring that decision making processes are performed accurately and to perform root cause analysis on failed processes. The role will also require the creation of new processes and adaptations of current systems to ensure continuous improvement.
Management of software adaptations is expected to account for approximately 50% of the role, whilst the remaining 50% is expected to be continuous improvement and spoil reduction.
The candidate will be required to have skills in the following:
• Quality assurance
• Maintaining data for investigation
• Management of Continuous Improvement teams in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Skill and experience in liaising with corporate customers.
• Project management experience to ensure the ability to contribute to change.
