What is the purpose of this role?
To support the business in the delivery of change. You will be working closely with an agreed group of business managers to equip them with the tools and knowledge to deliver effective business change and the communication within their teams.
Working as a member of the transformation and change team, you will play a key role in the cultural shift within the business that will underpin the effectiveness and sustainable delivery of the transformation programme.
What makes this role unique?
We have three vacancies that are based at operational sites and covering distinct geographical areas. This will give you the opportunity to get to know key managers across multiple business areas. It will allow you to build an influential network and demonstrate how you can positively effect change and drive business improvements.
Being responsible for your own areas will require high levels or organisation to demonstrate your ability to see projects through to completion and deliver measurable improvements. It will naturally develop your managerial skills and develop your career in change management.
What will this role involve?
To review and improve the Business Change Framework - working with project managers to ensure that all change projects adopt the same approach. - To provide one-to-one coaching support and expert advice to a set of agreed business managers, enabling them to become highly effective in the delivery of changes across their teams, so ensuring successful and sustainable change across the business.
To be successful in this role you must have proven change management expertise and demonstrable communication experience to ensure the success of change programmes. You will be able to demonstrate that you have influenced changes in behaviour and develop process improvements within a field based workforce. Our client is a diverse organisation with a large operational workforce ideally you will have experience in a similar environment. This will require very strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and influence managers at all levels.
Being predominately field based it is essential that you have a full driving licence and are happy to drive to operational sites across the region. Therefore you will have the ability to work autonomously and be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically across an organisation.
There are three field based roles; Fobney Water Treatment Works in Reading, Coppermills Water Treatment Works in Walthamstow and Stroud Green Depot in Croydon. The base location can be flexible.
Support individual projects as required.
? Work across HR teams to identify and deliver opportunities to improve support to business areas and customers.
? Active participation in Q12 or other employee engagement programmes by becoming a champion for the process and ensuring effective follow through in the business teams.
